Who We Are & How We Make a Difference

The US-Based Deaf Action Foundation (USBDAF) embraces the diversity of both deaf and hearing individuals, offering better services, referrals, and research in deaf education, employment, and the development of ASL interpreters. We also provide ASL tools for BIPOC deaf children and families in healthcare annually. Our headquarters are located in California, and we are working towards establishing branches with deaf representatives in each state across the U.S. Founded in 2019, we believe that with your support, we can make a meaningful impact and bring positive change to deaf communities across the United States.

At USBDAF:

We focus on BIPOC deaf children and families through services like ASL and English classes, referrals, increasing the number of BIPOC ASL interpreters, investigations, public policy advocacy, and community outreach.

Diversity

At USBDAF, we value the diversity of deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals, immigrants, refugees, families with deaf children, and BIPOC ASL interpreters. Our diverse team, including IT employees, understands the unique experiences and needs of these communities, allowing us to provide better services and support.
