· Refer deaf clients to shelters.
· Visit deaf clients to ensure they have equal access to meet their needs.
· The ASL interpreter will interpret them during their special
meetings or events.
Fund assistance
· USBDAF represents some departments /organizations on behalf of deaf clients for emergency fund assistance such as rent and utility bills.
. Orienting deaf immigrants, on the policy/rules before moving into the apartments.
Food banks and clothing banks
. Refer deaf clients to some locals for food banks, pastry banks, and clothing banks.
· Legal services or pro-bono lawyers.
· Refer deaf clients to their local legal service or pro-bono lawyers.
· Dress to Success
· Refer deaf clients to the store to get some free clothes for job interviews.
